I first met Jasmine over 10 years ago when she was a Key Note Speaker at our Conference at the time. I was intrigued and inspired by Jasmine’s approach.  She has this ability to take really complex issues; break them down and simplify them enough to teach in very practical ways.


I also wanted to experience more of her blend of Social Anthropology with practical workplace issues, namely Unconscious Bias and Culture. So I attended more of her workshops in-house and externally.  I was becoming a Jasmine groupie!


When I stepped into Freelance, Jasmine was one of the first people I spoke to.  We discovered that our work complimented each other so much, that we have gradually co-created and co-delivered a number of workshops together. We approach our work from very different fields, however, it just makes sense to blend our creations in this unique way.


This has resulted in our partnership to deliver these modules below.  You will get the best from both of us. Our dynamic, fun and deep working partnership is something that you must experience and be inspired by, like I was 10 years ago and still am.

In this workshop, we'll look at the facts involved in understanding how addressing unconscious bias and mental health can improve your workplace both for everyone working there and for your bottom line.

Unconscious Bias & Mental Maps

Unconscious bias affects everyone, it’s a natural part of being human. It stems from the society we’re members of, our parents, and our peer groups. Being so deeply embedded, it is not easy to get rid of, and it greatly affects our ability to achieve our potential as individuals and as businesses.


One particular bias is Imposter Syndrome, which we will focus on in this Masterclass.


You will learn how to:

  • Define unconscious bias

  • Define Imposter Syndrome

  • Recognise and manage your own biases and internal maps

  • Communicate through individual and personal metaphors


Jasmine will take you through an exploration of unconscious bias from her perspective as a social anthropologist working in corporates. This means understanding some of the cold, hard facts that underpin our daily, qualitative experiences.


Eimear will help you to explore your unique internal map and the metaphors which you use to communicate it through guided and experiential exercises.
